Looking at Tourism from a gender perspective allows us to discover some of the edges of its social dimension by addressing the relationship of women with men as workers, businesswomen and entrepreneurs, but also as users of tourist equipment and consumers of leisure experiences. The Guide of Tourism to mainstreaming gender in university teaching offers proposals, examples of good practices, teaching resources and consultation tools to reverse androcentrism and include the gender perspective in teaching, knowledge transfer and research.
