Through a journey through the history of Rome, this work analyzes the evolution of its political and social system, from its origins to its transformation into an autocratic regime. The author focuses on internal conflicts, social tensions, and the ambition of the elites as key factors in the breakdown of the republican equilibrium.  A reflection on power, inequality, and the consequences of institutional degradation.
