This book is mainly aimed to urologists since, due to the high prevalence of kidney stones, they attend a considerable number of patients with this pathology. It intends to constitute a simple guide for the management of these patients, thus facilitating the urologist work. The book can also be useful for those patients interested in better knowing their pathology, although, in no case is it intended to replace the doctor. We believe that this text can provide the patient with a more fluid dialogue with the doctor. The objective of this work is to offer a more complete knowledge of the disease to everybody interested or concerned about kidney stones. All this will result in a better and more efficient patient care.
