Traversing, the author states, is the action of the gaze that takes shape and moves towards the search for a new horizon of possibilities for encountering the otherness and singularities that each person carries with them. The objective of this work is to approach the Pedagogy of Encounter in the Spanish socio-educational context, making us reflect on our gaze towards otherness based on our own cultural roots. Thus, it offers us a set of tools to find an intercultural meeting point with others, being an important text for the training of education professionals.
